Pevco Awarded New Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) Contracts

Baltimore, MD – Pevco, a leading provider of pneumatic tube delivery systems for hospitals, announced that it has been awarded a new contract with Amerinet, one of the nation’s leading group purchasing organizations (GPOs).

Effective January 1, 2008, Pevco was awarded a supplier contract from Amerinet. Pevco will provide pneumatic tube delivery systems and service to Amerinet members, which include more than 25,000 health care providers in the U.S. Based in St. Louis, with offices in Salt Lake City, Utah, Providence, R.I., and Warrendale, Pa., Amerinet helps more than 2,100 acute care and 20,000 non-acute care health systems of all sizes manage their expenses and improve their operating margins.

Pevco is also the only pneumatic tube system supplier on contract with Novation, the industry’s largest contracting services company. Novation represents $31.6 billion in annual purchases from small and large health care and education organizations throughout the country. In addition, Pevco is on contract with Broadlane and the U.S. General Services Administration for the supply, installation and service of pneumatic tube systems. These relationships will allow Pevco to assist the GPOs in their mission to help their health care provider members obtain the best products at the best price.

“Pevco is proud to be accepted into these prominent group purchasing organizations,” says Bill Powder, sales manager for Pevco. “GPOs provide opportunities for their customers to take advantage of discounts, value-added features and extended warranties on necessary products and services so that they can provide high-quality, cost-effective health care to their patients.”
